Staffingly’s Allscripts (Veradigm) outsourcing service is a dedicated remote team that works inside your own Veradigm Practice Management and Veradigm EHR systems to run front office, scheduling, insurance eligibility, prior authorizations, referrals, medical billing, and AR reporting. Staff are trained on real Veradigm workflows, from PM task lists and Payerpath claim follow-up to remittance posting and collections worklists, and they work under signed Business Associate Agreements at a flat weekly fee per specialist, never a percentage of your collections. Our specialists work US business hours inside your own systems, under named, auditable logins, with BAAs executed and HIPAA-trained staff.
The Platform

What Is Allscripts, and What Is Veradigm?

They are the same company. Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, one of the longest-standing names in ambulatory health IT, renamed itself Veradigm in January 2023 after moving its ambulatory products to the Veradigm brand. The suite most practices know as Allscripts today runs as Veradigm EHR (formerly Allscripts Professional EHR) paired with Veradigm Practice Management, with Payerpath as the claims and remittance clearinghouse, ePrescribe for prescriptions, Predictive Scheduler for appointment fill, and FollowMyHealth for patient engagement.

For the large groups that standardized on Allscripts years ago, the rebrand changed logos, not workload. The PM task lists still fill, Payerpath rejections still land in their own queue, remittances still need posting, and the AR still needs someone who can pull a number two managers will both trust. What has changed is staffing: the billers who knew the system are retiring or leaving faster than practices can replace them. This service closes that gap with trained, dedicated people.

Fit

Who Is This For?

Organizations still running the Allscripts stack under the Veradigm name: large multi-specialty groups, multi-location practices, MSOs and billing companies managing several databases, and established specialty groups in cardiology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and urgent care. It fits a single practice that needs one trained Veradigm assistant as well as an enterprise group that needs a full billing desk plus front-office pods per location.

A note for enterprise groups. Veradigm installs at scale usually mean several databases, location-specific fee schedules, and follow-up work split across teams that do not share a tracker. Our model assigns named owners per queue and per location, with one consolidated daily report, so a ten-site group sees its whole practice-side workload in one place. Ask us to map your setup on your strategy call.
The Problem

Where Veradigm Practices Lose Time and Money

PM reports you cannot trust for AR.

Two managers pull AR from Veradigm PM and get two different numbers, because report settings, void handling, and date logic differ run to run. Decisions stall while everyone argues with the report.

See the fix
Payerpath rejections live in their own queue.

Claims rejected at the clearinghouse never reach the payer, and they sit in Payerpath, not in the PM worklist your billers watch. Unless someone reconciles the two daily, rejections age silently.

The person who knew the system left.

Veteran Allscripts billers carry years of unwritten setup knowledge. When one retires or resigns, task lists and follow-up queues stop moving, and new hires take months to reach their pace.

Multi-site work with no single owner.

Across locations and databases, every site assumes another site’s team is working the shared queues. Eligibility exceptions, auth follow-up, and denials fall between offices.

How Staffingly Supports Your Practice on Veradigm

Front Office and Patient Records

Our team registers new patients and keeps Veradigm records clean across every database you run: demographics, insurance and guarantor entry, and plan selection against your location-specific fee schedules. In a multi-site group, inconsistent registration is the quietest source of downstream denials; we keep entry standards identical at every location so claims start clean everywhere.

Scheduling and Patient Communication

Remote schedulers build and maintain the appointment book in Veradigm PM, work recall lists, confirm visits, and handle reschedules and waitlist fills. If your group runs Predictive Scheduler or FollowMyHealth, we handle the human half the automation creates: the callbacks, the portal messages, and the patients who never respond to a text. A fuller book at every location, without pulling on-site staff off the desk.

Eligibility and Insurance Verification

We verify coverage ahead of the visit, work the eligibility exceptions the electronic response cannot settle, call payers where benefit detail matters, and enter coverage correctly the first time. In enterprise groups the eligibility miss rate is a per-location number nobody tracks; we track it, report it, and drive it down site by site.

Prior Authorization

Our specialists identify services that need authorization, submit to payers, document approvals in Veradigm so the auth number rides the claim, and track expirations so approvals do not lapse mid-treatment. For cardiology, orthopedics, and imaging-heavy groups on this platform, auth follow-up is usually the largest unstaffed queue; we give it a named owner and a daily count.

Referral Coordination

We triage inbound faxes and referral documents daily, attach them to the right chart in Veradigm EHR, call the patient, and schedule, then log every item on a shared tracker your team can audit. In multi-site groups we route each referral to the right location the first time, so patients stop bouncing between offices before their first visit.

Billing, Payerpath, and RCM

Can you outsource Allscripts billing? Yes, and this is our deepest Veradigm bench. Dedicated billers work the cycle end to end: charge entry and claim generation in Veradigm PM, daily reconciliation between PM and Payerpath so clearinghouse rejections never age silently, remittance and manual EOB posting, denial follow-up, collections worklists, statements, and AR by payer and by location. For the full picture of our revenue cycle service, see Outsourced Revenue Cycle Management Services.

Documentation and Task Support

We support providers’ administrative workflow inside Veradigm EHR without touching clinical judgment: routing documents and tasks to the right owner, keeping provider task lists moving, and clearing administrative queues on a daily cadence. This is administrative support, not scribing, and the boundary is written into the SOW.

Reports and AR Oversight

We run the reporting your group actually needs from Veradigm PM, with locked settings and a documented method, so the AR number stops changing depending on who pulls it. AR and aging by payer and location, unbilled and rejection counts, collections worklist status, and a month-end pack your CFO can reconcile. Someone on our team owns the cadence, so revenue leaks get caught early instead of at year end.

How Our Teams Train and Go Live on Veradigm

Staffingly specialist working inside a client's Veradigm Practice Management system

We do not learn on your patients. New team members train on Veradigm workflows through our SOP library, recorded walkthroughs, and an AI training simulator that drills the screens before anyone touches a production system, then work supervised production while a senior specialist reviews output until quality holds. Because long-running Allscripts installs carry years of local configuration, week one includes documenting your task list conventions, report settings, and Payerpath reconciliation steps into SOPs your team signs off on, so the knowledge that used to live in one veteran’s head becomes a written system. Every specialist works under an individual HIPAA agreement with named, auditable Veradigm credentials, never shared logins, and a trained backup is prepared in parallel.

Why Staffingly

Why Outsource Veradigm Work, and Why Staffingly

One team for the whole system.

Most vendors sell Allscripts billing or an assistant. We staff across the workflow: front office, eligibility, auths, referrals, Payerpath reconciliation, billing, and AR reporting, so work stops falling between vendors or between locations.

Flat fee, never a percentage.

Bundled RCM services in this market are usually priced as a percentage of collections, so the fee grows every time your revenue does. Our dedicated specialists are a flat weekly fee, and every efficiency gain accrues to the group. Do the math both ways; we will help on the call.

Real Veradigm fluency.

Our team publishes public teardowns of Veradigm problems, including why PM reports cannot be trusted for AR and how to fix the method. The people doing your work wrote the analyses your competitors read.

FAQ

Allscripts (Veradigm) Outsourcing: Frequently Asked Questions

Is Allscripts the same as Veradigm?

Yes. Allscripts Healthcare Solutions renamed itself Veradigm in January 2023, and the ambulatory products carry the Veradigm name: Veradigm EHR (formerly Allscripts Professional EHR), Veradigm Practice Management, and the Payerpath clearinghouse. We support them regardless of which name is on your login screen.

What tasks can a virtual assistant do in Veradigm?

Registration, scheduling, recall and confirmation calls, eligibility checks, insurance entry, prior authorization tracking, referral and document triage, task list clearing, and report generation. Anything administrative that happens inside Veradigm screens, a trained remote assistant can own.

Can you outsource Allscripts billing?

Yes. Dedicated billers work inside your Veradigm PM and Payerpath: charge entry, claim generation, clearinghouse rejection reconciliation, remittance and EOB posting, denials, collections worklists, AR, statements, and daily reconciliation, with production reporting every evening.

How do your staff access our Veradigm system?

Through named individual user accounts you approve, with least-privilege roles, MFA, and full audit logging, in Veradigm and in Payerpath. No shared logins, no offline exports of PHI.

Can you cover multiple locations or databases?

Yes. Enterprise groups are our core fit on this platform. We assign named owners per queue and per database, and consolidate the queues into one daily report so leadership sees the whole practice-side workload in one place.

How fast can a dedicated Veradigm team start?

Typically live in 14 days: access setup, workflow training on your SOPs and local configuration, then supervised production. The engagement starts with a 2-Week Free Trial.

Is outsourced Veradigm work secure and HIPAA-ready?

HIPAA-trained staff, executed BAAs, workflows designed to support HIPAA compliance, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001:2022, and $5M in coverage. Full detail on our security page.

Yes. It stays your system, your data, your logins to grant or revoke. We work inside it and report daily; you can review our activity in your own system.
